Rooted in Community.
Built for the Healers.

Body Bend Yoga Foundation was born from a simple truth: the people who teach healing often cannot afford to be healed themselves. We are here to change that.

What We Do

Body Bend Yoga Foundation is committed to making holistic wellness accessible for all. We provide free and low-cost yoga services to underserved communities, offer inclusive corporate wellness programs, and fund scholarships for wellness educators so they can continue deepening their knowledge and expanding their practice.

We address the growing need for healing and self-regulation by equipping individuals with empowering tools through yoga, mindfulness, and community care.

Where We Are Going

A world where every wellness educator has the financial stability to dedicate their life to their practice, and every community has access to the healing that follows. We envision a nationwide network of empowered teachers — awarding 100 to 400 scholarships annually — each one multiplying our reach into communities that need it most.

This is not just a foundation. It is a movement toward spiritual, physical, and economic wellness for all.

Our Core Values

01

Access

Healing is not a luxury. We believe every person deserves access to wellness practices regardless of income, ability, or background.

02

Empowerment

We invest in teachers because empowered educators create empowered communities. Knowledge multiplies when it is shared freely.

03

Healing

We honor yoga, meditation, sound healing, breathwork, herbalism, and reiki as essential practices that complement medicine and therapy.

04

Community

Healing is more powerful when it is collective. Everything we build is rooted in community connection and mutual care.

05

Sustainability

We build systems, not just programs. Our goal is a self-sustaining ecosystem where scholarship alumni become the next generation of teachers and donors.

06

Inclusivity

We serve all people of all genders and backgrounds. Our programs center those who have been historically excluded from wellness spaces.

Why This Foundation Exists

The wellness industry is booming — and yet the teachers who make it possible are among the least financially supported professionals in the country. Trainings cost $3,000 to $10,000. Class pay ranges from $25 to $75. The math does not add up.

Body Bend Yoga Foundation was created to bridge that gap. Founded by wellness educators who lived this reality, BBYCF exists so that teachers never have to choose between deepening their practice and paying their bills.

We started in Southern California — hosting community classes, workshops, and wellness events — and we are building toward a national network of funded, empowered educators who carry healing into every corner of this country.
